Sparkle Foundation is a non-governmental organization established to reach out to orphans and less privileged children. Our passion is to help every child live healthy, access education and work towards achieving their full potential by providing a more holistic care and support for each individual. Our Vision is to live in a country where every vulnerable child and has access to achieving their full potential. Our Mission is to empower children by providing for their general well-being with a hope for a brighter future.
1. Olasimbo Ojuroye
Olasimbo Ibijoke Ojuroye is the Chief Executive officer of Sparkle Foundation for the orphans and less privileged. She was born on the 12th of October 1967 to Ayoola and Adedotun Oke at East Dulwich London. She is the second of 4 siblings, a committed Christian, happily married to her best friend Ayodeji Ojuroye and blessed with 3 young adults. Olasimbo attended the University of Lagos, Akoka Nigeria where she graduated with a BSc Honours in Chemistry. Olasimbo later travelled to the United Kingdom where she furthered her Education. She trained as an Information Technology (IT) Consultant/Expert and has worked in several industries including Banking and insurance as an IT Consultant for several years.
Olasimbo has a great passion to reach out to the less privileged with a divine purpose of putting “Smiles” on the faces of these children. This great passion resulted in the establishment of the Foundation in 2016 and yearly Children’s event on May Day-themed ‘Smiley faces’. Olasimbo bagged another degree in the Medical Sciences to equip her better for her humanitarian goals/objectives. She likes to travel to exotic places and be in the mist of great people. She enjoys cleaning in her spare times as she always cherishes her clean environment.
Sparkle foundation is dedicated to ensuring that every child, one at a time is empowered to achieve their full potential. Each child is supported with their educational needs, Preventative health awareness and ensuring their general well-being.
2. Abbiih Oloyede
Abbiih is a prolific speaker, Business and Life Coach and Mentor to entrepreneurs. She has a unique gift of encouraging people to reach their full potential. Her passion is to help people and organizations fulfill their purpose and maximize their God given gifts, talents, skills and abilities. She and her husband, pastor a non-denominational church called City Chapel in East London.
3. Julie Namatovu Abiose
Julie is a Debt Specialist / Adviser working with Citizens Advice in the UK. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work and Social Administration, plus a Diploma in Understanding & Working with Adolescents & Young People. She has always been passionate about working with young people. She is an experienced coach and volunteers as a mentor working with troubled young people in her community.
4. Moriah Priestly
Moriah Priestley holds a postgraduate degree in macroeconomics from a prestigious UK university. She is a consummate management consultant working closely with govt bodies in UK and Europe around health policy and implementation. Moriah runs a leadership and personal development coaching practice called “Insight coaching” and has recently partnered with the governments cabinet office to deliver workshops around the country that empowers everyday people from black and ethnic minority communities to enable them aspire to sit on decision making boards across government and public sectors.
She is the first and only afro Caribbean elected politician in Milton Keynes. Her current interest aside from business is in leadership development as a John Maxwell coach and speaker. She loves music and supports initiatives around economic empowerment especially with women and young adults.
5. Ronke Akerele
Ronke Akerele is a leader in the healthcare sector in UK. She is currently Executive Director of Innovation and Transformation at Hertfordshire Partnership Foundation NHS Trust. She is also a honorary lecturer at Imperial College, London.
Ronke Akerele is a seasoned professional with experience in strategy execution, continuous improvement, performance management, service transformation, information technology and programme management in the public and private sectors. Prior to her current role, she had held senior positions in Imperial College Health Partners, BUPA, Career Quality Commission (UK), Accenture, PWC and HealthGravitas.
Ronke Akerele holds a BSc in Economics, MSc in Information Technology, MBA and has undertaken Executive Education programmes both in London Business School and Harvard Business School. She is currently completing her Doctorate degree in Organisational Change. A firm believer of improving the lives of underprivileged, she is the founder of Heritage Outreach, a charity registered in the Nigeria and UK to transform the lives of for orphan and vulnerable children. Ronke Akerele is married to Femi Akerele and they have 2 beautiful children.
6. Olabisi Omole
Olabisi Omole is a graduate of Physical and Health Education from the prestigious university of Ibadan. She also holds an MBA from the University of Liverpool, UK. She has vast experiences in the financial industry, having served in various capacities including amongst others, Associate investment executive, Treasury officer, Personal Banking, Commercial banking and currently a Retail banking guru.Additionally, she has multiple sound skills in relationship Management. She has maintained a robust network of HNIs built over 26years of her work experience in the industry.
