Eye care is just as important as looking after the rest of the body, and having a corrected vision can improve the quality of day-to-day life. We believe that sight loss is preventable, and getting the eyes tested can help prevent, or limit the damages caused by certain eye conditions, which is why we prioritise eye care especially for people living in disadvantaged communities who are unable to afford medical attention needed for their sight.Every year Sparkle foundation partners with Precious Sight Foundation to provide free eye test and medication for people in disadvantaged communities.
On 11th June the free eye test exercise was carried out in Ogun State for inhabitants of Sagamu and its environs. 320 people including children and adults benefitted from the free eye screening and distribution of ointments, eye drops and recommended glasses from qualified optometrist to improve the health conditions of the people.
