Every year, Sparkle Foundation helps families with little resources in remote areas enjoy the Christmas holiday season. The Foundation gives food items and other necessities to commemorate the season. Sparkle Foundation has visited the people of Makoko community in Lagos, in collaboration with Bet9ja to distribute 2,600 packs of food stuffs which including rice, groundnut oil, noodles, milk and many more items.

According to the CEO of Sparkle Foundation, it is a gesture to reach out to the less privileged in the society in the festive season. The Christmas Give Away is a program meant to help every child and family have a better Christmas by supporting them with food items. In her words:

“We have been in this area for about two years and we have identified MAKOKO as one of the reasons I have decided to spend the next five years to work with them in other to see how the foundation could support the less privilege in this area.”
