A little act of kindness here and there is sometimes all that is needed to make a big difference, for while we individually cannot make the world a better place for mankind, we can come together to begin the process one community at a time.

Irrespective of the heavy downpour, the passion for humanity and the love for the less privilege stirred us as walk through the mud and refuse, from one door to the other to reach out to 120 families in Makoko community of Yaba. Our aim wasn’t just to feed them. It was to offer hope of a better life, to remind them that they matter too, and to bring joy to their hearts especially in this season of goodwill.

Mother Theresa says “If you can’t feed a hundred people, then feed just one”. It does make a difference, as was seen by the many beautiful smiles of these people who at their low points deserve our show of love.

God bless everyone who in one way or the other contributed to make this event a success. The task ahead is yet great, but together we can get there.
